Sponsorship with the Streetsville-Meadowvale Figure Skating Club

The Streetsville Meadowvale Figure Skating Club is a not-for profit, organization that is fully sanctioned by Skate Canada, the national governing body for figure skating in Canada. Our club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers from our community, and has been operating since 1962.

Our programs offer young people an important foundation in Canada’s favourite pastime, ice skating. This includes figure skating, hockey or recreational skating. Our programs also offer each of our members an opportunity to learn and exemplify good sportsmanship, competitive spirit and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle. All in all, we believe that what we offer our members – important life skills -- extends well beyond the ice and into our community.

We are seeking sponsors who are willing to contribute either direct funding or in-kind donations to help support our mission. In 2011/12, SMFSC had more than 600 member skaters – ranging in age from 3 to adult and across the same diverse cultural groups represented in our city – along with the parents and extended families that support them. Taken together, this is a vibrant, enthusiastic and committed group of advocates that we would love to engage on your behalf.
