 2010/2011 CanSkate Registration

To register online or to obtain further information, go to the MENU area, located on the left side of this page.  Open "CanSkate" to obtain information on the program format, schedule and fees.  Open “ CanSkate Registration Instructions” to get information about registration procedures.  Open "Members" to proceed directly to online registration.

Please note: Payment for CanSkate online registration is by credit card only.  To pay by cheque, download a drop off registration form ( located in the "CanSkate" area in the menu to the left). Instructions are provided on the form.

 Updates: As of Friday September 3, spaces are still available for the Thursday 6:15, Thursday 7:10, and Saturday 10:50 CanSkate sessions.  Monday CanSkate is filled and is waitlist only.  All Pre-CanSkate sessions are filled and are waitlist only.

We have been providing skating programs to the local community for over 46
years.  We operate as a not-for-profit, entirely volunteer based, organization.

The Streetsville Meadowvale Figure Skating Club is sanctioned by Skate
Canada, the national sport governing body for figure skating in Canada.  As a
member club, we are able to offer CanSkate, Canada’s only national
learn-to-skate program. CanSkate was developed by experts to teach the
fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner. It provides
a solid background for all ice sports and is suitable for new skaters as
well as those with some experience.

After CanSkate, skaters can move into the STARSkate program.  STARSkate
offers opportunities for skaters to receive private instruction and develop
fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills,
freeskate and interpretive.  Qualified skaters can also participate in the
Skate Canada Competitive program.
